With the 8, OnePlus slowly edges towards the brink of the “premium mid-range” market, starting at $699.
The 6.55” 1080p 90hz display features a hole punch this time around. The internals are your standard OnePlus affair with the Snapdragon 865, 5G, 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The battery is 4300mAh, with Warp Charge 30T wired charging (yes, no wireless this time too).
A 48MP Main, 2MP Macro and 16MP Ultrawide flaunt the back providing decent performance for the price.
OnePlus keeps increasing it’s prices, it’s flagship killer attitude is fading away as phones like the Redmi K30 Pro and Realme XT2 Pro take that space. A unique aspect is that 5G is standard on all models, but we all know how widespread 5G coverage is. .
