Apple Fitness+ | Apple’s latest foray into subscription services

The much-awaited apple live event gave us a wide spectrum of products. Alongside them, Apple is launching a new subscription service dedicated specifically to fitness called Fitness Plus.

All workouts featured require a set of dumbbells or no equipment. It features 10 different types of workouts such as treadmill, yoga, strength, rowing, HIIT, cycling, etc. The workouts will be available with different durations and weekly additions will be available for the service. The service is integrated with apple music as well to give the user a tailored experience. At the end of every circuit, you get a detailed summary alongside health stats.

During the workout session, Apple claims that stats such as your heart rate and calories burned will be shown along with the workout. The Apple Watch will provide you now with more information alongside, the already encouraging rings of activity.

Compatibility wise, Fitness Plus requires an Apple Watch (Series 3 or later) to use it with an iPhone,iPad, or Apple TV. In Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Fitness Plus will be eligible.

Entry to the service will cost $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year, and by purchasing a new Apple Watch, you’ll get three months free. It also comes bundled as part of Apple’s latest subscription to Apple One. Apple says Fitness Plus will be available by the end of the year.
